Turning the Corner, St. Louis Detention Center, St. Louis, Missouri

If a kid has “turned the corner” it means they are not going home, but will see a judge. This is a frightening time for the kid. The girl sits with a blanket over her in a cold room. She will see a judge in 72 hours….but she is not going home tonight.
